🇹🇭 PHANG NGA : Amazing Nature 🏝️

Phang Nga, to me, is truly a Paradise. This world-class destination is located just one hour north of Phuket. Here is where you can find numerous natural wonders. Are you ready to be amazed? Let's come with me! 1. SIMILAN ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK Similan Islands National Park has been voted one of the most beautiful islands in the world. To go to there, I chose to stay in Khao Lak area, so it is not far from Tub Lamu Pier where we will board a speed boat to Similan. I would recommend a one-day excursion, so that we can visit many islands and do some snorkelling. Island No.8 or Koh Paed is the biggest of the islands, covering an area of 5 square kilometres. On the northern tip of this island, you will find the landmark of Similan which is “Sail Rock”. It can be reached by a steep path and serves as a popular viewpoint with a stunning panorama over Ao Kueak (อ่าวเกือก) or “Donald Duck Bay”. 2. SURIN ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK Surin Islands National Park is another must-visit place in Phang Nga. We also board the boat from Tab Lamu Pier. Once we are approaching Surin Islands, we will be amazed by the seawater colour here, which is slightly different of that in Similan. It is more emerald. Also, our local friends as known as sea gypsies have lived around this area for centuries. Surin Islands is an archipelago of 5 islands in the Andaman Sea, located about 60 kms from the mainland. The marine park headquarters is situated in North Surin Island. Visitors can stay overnight on this island either in bungalows or in beachside tents. Both options will give you an unforgettable experience by staying very close to mother nature. Surin Islands is also rated as one of Asia's top snorkelling sites. 3. SAMED NANG SHE Phang Nga Bay is one of the most picturesque areas in Thailand. And 'Samed Nang She' is, what I think, the best spot to admire the beauty of the bay with stunning panoramic views. 4. KOH TAPU (JAMES BOND ISLAND) Next, I'll take you on a cruise around Phang Nga Bay to enjoy splendid views of the bay as well as to visit its landmark, Koh Tapu. 5. THAI MUANG BEACH My last recommended place is situated half-way between Phuket and Khao Lak. It is Thai Mueng Beach, a hidden gem of Phang Nga. Full of lush sea pine trees, Thai Mueng Beach stretches for over 13 kilometres, making it the longest beach in Thailand. Khao Na Yak is in the northern part of Thai Muang Beach, located near Tha Din Daeng Community which is a village with fertile mangrove forests. To go there, we have to get on a boat from Tha Din Daeng Pier, then trek a little bit through Savannah grasslands, a vast field of gold colour grass. I think the most beautiful time is the eveningtime. The beachfront area is tranquil and full of beautiful unique-looking rocks. Hope you enjoyed the amazing nature in Phang Nga. Fly to Phang Nga via Phuket Airport with Bangkok Airways, Asia's Boutique Airline. Stay tuned for the next episode. Exploring Beautiful Northern Thailand - MUST SEE PLACES IN PAI, THAILAND

Exploring Beautiful Northern Thailand - MUST SEE PLACES IN PAI, THAILAND Today we are hopping on a mini-bus and making the winding 3 hour journey from Chiang Mai to Pai, Thailand. Pai is well known for being a laid back destination full of hot springs, waterfalls, and amazing views. We rented a scooter as soon as we made it into town and made our way up to our AirBnB. We stayed a few minutes outside of town, at a place called The Lookout, and it definitely lived up to it’s name! For our first few days in Pai we enjoyed some time relaxing by the pool at Phu Pai Art Resort. The location is beautifully set over looking the rice paddy fields and mountains. We also took an early morning scooter ride to the Sai Ngam Hot Springs. It is a quaint area with a small cluster of thermal baths shaded by trees. We went early and practically had the place to ourselves and a few locals. Another spot we would recommend is the Bamboo Bridge. It is an 800 - meter long bridge that stretches over lush rice fields. We recommend bringing water because while the bridge has some spots that offer shade it gets very HOT! Chiang Mai - The Coolest City of Thailand!

Download the Smallcase App Now! - https://link.smallcase.com/T7vAHbjUFub Chiang Mai has definitely become one of our favourite cities in Thailand. Surrounded by lush green mountains this ancient city blurs lines between the old and the new. We ride to Doi Inthanon National Park to check out the highest peak in all of Thailand. The Old City of Chiang Mai has many stunning temples. Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh leave us completely spellbound. Northern Thailand is known for it’s epic cuisine. We try out a bunch of local delicacies at the very famous Tong Tem Toh Restaurant in the Nimman area. And finally, the over-the-top absolutely indulgent weekend markets of Chiang Mai - the Wua Lai Walking Street and the Phae Walking Street offer never-ending stimuli to your brain! Food, clothes, trinkets, antiques, handicrafts, entertainment - they’ve got it all and then some! We honestly wish we had some more time in this kick ass city! Kanchanaburi - City Video Guide

This video for Kanchanaburi is one of our older productions, but we wanted to share it with you to get some feedback on how these older clips compare to the more recent travel guides we’ve shot. Below are some links to those recent videos. Feel free to compare with this clip and comment below to let us know which ones you prefer, and what else you’d love to see from Expedia on YouTube! St. Petersburg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3ISUUO0CSo Kyoto: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd1wzlwtKJ0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The lively town of Kanchanaburi straddles the Mae Klong River in northern Thailand. When you first arrive, you might be surprised by its breezy, temperate climate, particularly if you’ve just arrived from the humid coastal region. Kanchanaburi’s mountainous border keeps its temperature warm and pleasant year-round, and that can be a welcome change from the heat simmering at Thailand’s famous beaches. This community is both a regional commercial center and within easy access of a variety of historical and natural attractions. A Kanchanaburi tour must include a stop at the night market, which is located near the train station. Purchase delicious local fare, check out the offerings from the area’s artistic community, and get to know some of the citizens of this lively town. Kanchanaburi was occupied by the Japanese during World War II, and there are numerous museums and memorials for you to add to your itinerary while you’re in the area. Pay a visit to the Hellfire Pass Museum, which commemorates part of the “Death Railway” that was built by Allied prisoners of war. If you’ve seen the movie “The Bridge on the River Kwai,” then you already have an idea of what the conditions were like. You can also cross the titular bridge from that movie, which has since been partially rebuilt. Ready to experience the natural beauty Kanchanaburi is famed for? Climb aboard a Nam Tok Line train to wind your way through the gorgeous, jungle-clad mountains. If you look out the window, you’ll find the steep rock sides of the mountains just an arm’s length away. Your Kanchanaburi sightseeing must include a stop at Erawan National Park, located deep in the forest. This is the place where you get to see some of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls, as well as mosey along sunlit streams. What do you want to see in Kanchanaburi?
